We live close to the Trafford Centre and visit a fair bit. When I heard Smiggle were opening a store there, I was more than a little excited. The doors opened on National Smile Day - 6th October, but we already had plans for then, so we couldn't make the grand opening. That hasn't stopped us getting in on the fun though.

If you haven't heard of Smiggle before, they are an Australian Stationery company. The name came about because the store is a place where "a smile meets a giggle". They opened their Manchester store last year, and I fell in love with the brand back then.

On 9th October, Smiggle unveiled their new range - Smile....

The Smile collection consists of Jewellery, Gift Sets and Hair Accessories. The Smiggle team kindly sent Syd a selection of pieces to give us a first hand look at the new range. Prices vary from £2.50 to £15, so there's something to suit most pocket money budgets. It can be purchased in store or online.

I would say the pieces are similar in quality and price to this you'd find in Claire's. Syd is 5 and absolutely loves jewellery, but she is prone to losing them, so I won't buy her gold or silver pieces just yet. The Smiggle Smile range is a great compromise - she's happy as they look really cute, I'm happy they don't break the bank and I won't stress too much if she loses any of the items.

I'm not psychic but can see Smiggle Smile items being bought as birthday gifts for her friends, being given as rewards when she's doing well in school and her pocket money being spent on pieces too.

Syd has worn one of the chokers pictured below every day since she got them. The rainbow and butterflies seem to be her favourites. All 5 are still going strong more than a week later.

Well done Smiggle - you've given us ANOTHER reason to love your store with this new range of products. I still won't be able to leave your store without buying at least one stationery item though.
